Subravu Gupta

Subravu Gupta, was founded on the streets of Fort Kochi in a beggaring condition. The compassionate social workers in the Fort Kochi bought him to the Welfare Association Trust and get admitted in the We care home on 12/03/2022. This took a dramatic turn in his life with dedicated care and proper medical intervention, Subravu emerged anew. The trust provided crucial rehabilitation facilities, and today, Subravu thrives in an environment of respect and dignity. His story is a testament to the power of compassion and support in transforming lives.

Darshan

At nearly 22, Darshan's life was a desperate struggle on the streets of Fort Kochi. Begging for food, his situation was heart-wrenching. With the intervention of social workers, he found refuge in the Welfare Association Trust. Hailing from Karnataka, Darshan spoke Kannada. His hypothyroidism was dangerously high, causing severe dysfunction in his brain functions. Through dedicated rehabilitation and proper medical care, his journey towards recovery began. Today, he is on the path to healing and happiness. With access to food and life's necessities, Darshan's story is a reminder of the incredible transformation that compassion, support, and medical care can bring to those in need.

George

George's transformation is nothing short of remarkable. Discovered at a bus stand in Thalayolaparamb, this 42-year-old man arrived at the Welfare Association Trust on 07/04/2022 with the assistance of diligent social workers. Little was known about him - not even his name or background. Nonetheless, the trust provided him with shelter and all necessary amenities. Rehabilitation played a pivotal role in George's journey. The trust's relentless efforts even led to the discovery of George's family members. After successfully completing the rehabilitation period, he was joyfully reunited with his mother, and on 16/10/2022, he bid farewell to the institution. This heart-warming story underscores the profound impact of care, support, and rehabilitation on an individual's life.
